"Camo Night" in honor of SFC Rosselot's recovery.
On August 30, 2013, at the opening 2013 Science Hill High School Football Game, our Toppers took the opportunity to provide a moment of cheer and support for Sergeant First Class Rosselot. The game was call "Camo Night" is support of "Sarge". Adults and students alike wore their camouflage colored clothes, hats and uniforms...some even painted their faces to show their support for SFC Rosselot. Below is the announcement provided to both fans in the stands and fans listening to the game on the radio.
“Tonight's game has been named “Camo Night” by the Hilltoppers as an expression of their support to Sergeant First Class John Rosselot who is struggling mightily to overcome a serious illness. He is at home resting and listening to tonight’s broadcast. Down on the track the Topper Cheerleaders and JROTC Cadets are right now leading everyone in a cheer of “Go Sarge Go”. So Get Well Sergeant Rosselot…and Stay Army Strong!” |
