MESSAGE FOR JROTC SUPPORT ASSOCIATION LEADERSHIP & MEMBERS
This is a BIG SHOUT-OUT / THANKS / WELL DONE to all of our JROTC Parents for the endless hours you freely give of yourselves in support of all of the Cadets in the Topper Battalion. The time, energy and sweat you so graciously give in an effort to enhance the quality of the SHHS JROTC program is, well, key to a successful Cadet experience. In the past 4 years your efforts have resulted in a host of improvements in both the infrastructure of the Topper Battalion as well as enhancing the quality of existing Cadet events. Examples of your contributions include but are not limited to: uniform accessories, gym floor covering, Color Guard equipment, exhibition drill team equipment, Veterans Day Ceremony support, Change of Command & Promotion Banquet support, Drill Competition support, Appalachian Region ROTC Olympics support, providing snacks at multiple Cadet Events, and the list goes on and on and on !! THANK YOU PARENTS & SUPPORT ASSOCIATION LEADERSHIP !!!!

JROTC Support Association
The Support Association routinely meets every 2nd Tuesday at 6 pm in the SHHS JROTC Classroom. Unless otherwise noted, meetings are held in the following months: August, September, October, November, January, February, March and April.
Our parent volunteers dedicate hundreds of hours to the JROTC program each year. We would not be successful without them. The Support Association is a truly remarkable team and we are fortunate to have them involved in a wide variety of JROTC events and activities.
The Support Association helps set-up social events and various competitions, provides chaperones, helps with transportation, helps raise funds, supports cook-outs and field trips, etc. Of course when this group gets together, they seem to have more fun than our Cadets!
